Sustainable Materials Drive Innovation in Racket Bag Market
The global racket bag market is witnessing a surge in eco-friendly product designs as brands prioritize sustainability. According to a 2023 report by Grand View Research, the sector is projected to grow at a 6.8% CAGR through 2030, fueled by rising participation in racket sports like tennis, pickleball, and badminton.
Leading brands such as Yonex and Babolat have recently launched lines featuring recycled polyester and plant-based waterproof coatings. Adidas also debuted a carbon-neutral tennis bag this month, using 100% recycled materials and offsetting production emissions. Industry analysts highlight that 68% of consumers now consider sustainability a key purchasing factor, pushing smaller brands like Vulcan and Lacoste to follow suit.
"Players want gear that aligns with their environmental values," says Maria Chen, VP of Product at Wilson Sporting Goods. "Our new RePlay collection, made from upcycled ocean plastics, has seen a 40% sales boost since January."
