Nike's New Easy-Open Backpack Prioritizes Accessibility
Nike has introduced the Elite EasyOn backpack, designed to enhance accessibility for athletes, particularly those with low dexterity or motor skills. Originally developed for athletes competing in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, the backpack is now available to the general public for $150. It features a full clamshell opening, large U-shaped zipper pulls, a top flap secured with magnets, and a modular strap design accommodating various carrying methods, including wheelchair users.
